West Elm - Another unsatisfied client
I order 3 items form West Elm on January 3rd. One was delivered and the other two were forgotten.
After numerous attempts, I finally was contacted to schedule the remaining 2 items on March 1st despite asking for an earlier delivery. The furniture is being delivered to a condo with 24/7 front desk service. They were given clear directions to ask for the key at the front desk. The furniture was delivered as promised and I received no notice from West Elm.
I was told when I called to find out what happened that the driver said the owner was not there and left. This was a clear lie. There is always someone at the front desk and if he made it clear he needed someone to walk him to the unit, they would have happily done so. They may have nice design but I will never buy from this this company again.
They have horrible customer service and do nothing to make up for their mistakes.
I bought a sofa from CB2 and had no issues at all. I like working with companies that value their clients.
