I ordered a couch on July 6 that I am convinced will never show up, ever - despite being charged for it. We are 6 weeks past the original estimated delivery date.

I've placed multiple calls to find out what is happening. There is no resolution and complete absence of anything that remotely resembles customer service or a willingness to quickly resolve this. I'm ready to just go through AMEX and request a charge back for failure to receive items paid for so I can be done with this nightmare and get my couch elsewhere.

Never ever buying anything from West Elm again. Lesson learned.

I would suggest online furniture buyers beware. I found out that this experience is the norm and not the exception after looking up reviews. Wish I had done that before ordering and took my business elsewhere.

Save yourself and avoid the headache. There have to be better places to buy affordable modern furniture, where you will actually get what you paid for.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $1600.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
