I ordered a SMEG toaster on January 9, 2015. It is now January 30th, and was slated to be delivered within 1 - 3 weeks. While I understand that the toaster will be shipped directly from the vendor, I'm unclear why the order was just 'fulfilled' on Tuesday (after four calls to customer service). Now I'm to understand that it 'may' arrive on or about February 6, 2015. Did West Elm even submit the order?
This is not my first disappointment with West Elm shipping. I wouldn't advise customers to abandon West Elm, but perhaps rethink large furniture purchases or items shipped directly from vendors.
