Ordered table and chairs online on 12/8/15. At that time, both items shown in stock.
Order confirmation arrives in email two minutes after order is placed. Table now backordered until 3/16. Immediately contact West Elm and cancel entire order on 12/8/15. Receive written confirmation of cancellation on 12/8/15.
Credit card is charged for chairs on 12/9 and for table on 12/16. I have now spent two months, more than a dozen calls and at least 6 hours on hold resolving more than $1000 in charges for furniture I never received and for an order I cancelled mere minutes after placing. Disputed charges with my credit card company.
Will never shop here ever ever again.
