The first bench I received was defective. the legs didn't screw into the receptacles.

Then i had to repack it- very heavy and put it outside for UPS to pick up. Customer service took 30 mins to get to this decision.

Then the next day another one arrived when UPS came to get the defective one. So I checked my AMEX statement and instead of seeing a credit, I saw 2 charges for the same item on separate dates.

I called customer service for the third time and the young man could not even find the first charge on my account!! He only saw a one time charge for $360.71.

I had much larger problem 2 years ago and should have learned a lesson.

Reason of review: defective,billed 2 times,poor cust. service.

Monetary Loss: $721.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

West Elm Pros: Bed headboards.

West Elm Cons: Most products cheap, Customer service.
