I just received this sofa bed. It took 2 months, also they would not open the bed part up in the store.
The couch looks very nice. The delivery service was excellent. HOWEVER-- the bed part is a disaster, because -- they do not tell you-- you can't tuck in the sheets and blankets. There is simply no room around the mattress to do so.
Also, you can't fold the sheets and blankets back into the frame-- so you have to take the bedding off and replace it back on every time you use the bed. I have never seen a sofa bed where you have to do this. I asked at the store after I received the piece and was told there is room for a "very thin" layer. Meaning maybe, possibly one sheet.
This is ridiculous and in a small room-- the purpose of a sleeper sofa-- where do you put all this bedding for a queen size bed every day? Also, the mattress does not have a "cushion top" as advertised. It has a brick-like block of dense foam. The store told me they make their furniture in China-- while Pottery Barn has theirs made in N Carolina.
This could account for the quality difference. The price difference is not really that great.
